This project shows
the flexibility of the WOODWORLD "As You Like It" system.
The WOODWORLD Modular Construction Concept gives the houses a "family
resemblance" that ensures architectural unity, while each house can
be individually designed.
The life span for this residencial quarter has been designed for over
100 years. Therefore the the buildings can be modified even later on,
according to the inhabitans' changing needs. For example intermediate
walls can be moved and the houses can be extended or devided into two
dwellings.
This ensures that families can live in their houses for decades in spite
of changing life styles.
Each project is carefully studied to find the best solutions. WOODWORLD
does not have a ready made model-book as such but we have done hundereds
of individual planes, all adjusted to the evironment and the movements
of the sun. We always visit the site before we start planning. Customers
opinions are noted and respected. As to the customer satisfactory. We
have repeated orders.
